New Paper Published in Fire Safety Journal

We are pleased to announce the publication of our latest research article in the Fire Safety Journal:

Several years ago, our laboratory developed a photogrammetric method for determining the bulk density of char. Since then, the method has been continuously refined and applied to a variety of research topics. We are delighted to see these efforts resulting in another successful publication.

The study demonstrates that both the char formation environment and the virgin material significantly influence char bulk density—an important input parameter for pyrolysis modelling and computational fire simulations.
