Success in the OPSEC Call of the Ministry of the Interior

The Laboratory of Fire Engineering has been successful in the OPSEC call within the Security Research Programme of the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic for 2023–2029. Over the next three years, the laboratory will carry out the project “Development of Methods and Tools for Quantifying Radiant Heat Flux in Fire-Hazardous Environments”, which aims, among other goals, to support the crisis preparedness of security and rescue services.

The lab participates in the project as a co-investigator in cooperation with the Technical Institute of Fire Protection, with which the Laboratory of Fire Engineering has a long-standing close collaboration. Congratulations and there are hopefully many other projects to come!
